I find it really difficult to be focused enough to write a real blog post right now. I’m seriously distracted because Kevin Rose is clouding my thoughts. If you’ve been living under a rock or a very large bubble, you may ask- “Who is Kevin Rose?”
Well.
First and foremost- Um…. Hi :-)
Secondly, he’s so smart… he’s cofounder of Digg.com which I’m sure you have all heard about and he’s co-stars with Alex Albrecht on the weekly podcast Diggnation which NEVER ceases to entertain. They get a different kind of beer or tea each week and talk about some of the most digged stories on Digg.com.
He’s obviously very driven and knows what it takes to be successful. He took $6000 and turned it into an internet empire.
He made being a geek very sexy. And on top of that he’s king of sexy geeks.
My family is very politically separated. My step father is a Catholic so of course he is largely republican. He’s also a racist so he is completely anti-anything-but-white. My grandfather is Democratic but racist as well. And as for me, I get more liberal by the day when it comes to most issues facing our nation. Long story short- its NEVER a good idea to bring up politics in my household.
However, yesterday being as monumental as it was, caused politics to come up. I told my step dad to quit whining like a baby because there is nothing that he can do about it now but suck it up and learn to accept it.
At this point he said “Oh yea?! He won’t be in office very long. Trust me on that. He’s going to be assassinated.”
“Um… are you going to be the one doing it?”
“No, but I have a few friends that might.”
Really?! You know whats the saddest part of it all? I guarantee that my step father isn’t the only one making those empty threats. Empty as they may be…. its still ridiculous.
America- put your big kid panties on and suck it up. Obama is our president and won by a landslide. There is nothing you can do about it. If you want to move to a foreign country, please do so. I recommend Russia because they are the only country not making statements that this was the best decision that Americans have made in a long time. Make sure to take your coat. I hear it gets chilly up there.

First of all- LOVE Jeff Dunham. He makes me swoon. No matter how many times I watch him, I laugh the entire time.
Secondly- about Lindsay Lohan…. how the heck did I miss her becoming gay?! And not even to a cute lesbian? Yea…. not sure how I feel aobut that….. it doesn’t seem to “fit”
Last night I had a CRAZY dream. I dreamed that I was a contestant on America’s Next Top Model with the girls that are currently on. (FYI- Fatima was even bitchier in my dream.) Instead of having a normal modeling challenge, we were paired with a guy and we had to make it through this obstacle course while “always looking like a model”. This obstacle course was made Army Style and there were men hiding in the sand under our feet and if we stepped on them, they jumped out and grabbed us and we were disqualified. Some big guy jumped out and scared me. I was disqualified. My partner got mad at me for getting disqualified. I cried. Then, I woke up.
I think its safe to say that now that I’m dreaming reality television… I should probably step away from the remote and start having a real life outside of watching others’.
The interesting part of the whole ordeal though is that when I woke up the first thought that popped in my head was- “I wonder if I did get on a reality tv show if I could swing a date with Scott Michael Foster.” At which point I started going over in my head how I could drop 15 pounds so that I could get on the Real World and then profess my undying love for him. He would see it and fall in love with me. Then we would date. He would pop the question in 3 years and 4 months. And we would get married 10 months later. We would wait another 2 years to have children. And we would make quite the beautiful Hollywood Family.
Now usually I would dismiss the idea of Scott right away because I HATE the shaggy hair look. I think it looks dirty. Whoever started that trend when I was in high school should be shot. Its disgusting. BUT Scott pulls it off. And very well I might add.
I realize I join the other hundreds of thousands of girls that are drooling over him. But I’m okay with that. Being that this is my first celebrity crush since I was like 12, I think its okay to get a little starry eyed.
Scott Michael Foster is amazing. M A ZING. Plus, he’s from Dallas. You know how I love those Southern Boys. There is really nothing better. :-) If you haven’t seen the gorgeousness that is Scott Michael Foster in action. Then please enjoy the following clip. Try not to get too excited.
